Humanoid Cats Refuse To Pay For Human Healthcare

This ad from Dutch agency Nice tie Sir builds on a good concept, striving to humanize cats in an effort to stop people seeing them as expendable.

The ad, however, is somehow spoiled by the lousy copy at the end, that doesn’t square with the narrative it is suppose to condense. As AdFreak rightly points out, “They wouldn’t do it to you. Don’t do it to them.” would be right if the ad showed the cat-father spending the €240 needed to save the human. As he pointedly doesn’t, thinking that this would be an excessive amount to save a pet, it doesn’t make sense. “Would you like that they did it to you? So don’t do it to them.” would be far better.

They’re an agency from Amsterdam. I’d never heard of them before either. I looked them up, and there’s very little information, just this yet-to-come-online site:
